Develop and implement investment strategies to maximize returns and minimize risks for the university's investment portfolio. Monitor market trends and economic conditions to make informed investment decisions. Evaluate potential investment opportunities and conduct thorough due diligence. Manage and maintain relationships with external investment managers and partners. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide recommendations for portfolio adjustments. Prepare and present reports on the portfolio's performance and present to senior management and stakeholders. Collaborate with other departments and university stakeholders to support the overall financial goals and objectives. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the fund, including cash flow management and reconciliations. Develop and maintain strong relationships with donors and provide them with regular updates on the fund's performance. Train and mentor junior team members on investment best practices and procedures. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the fund management process. Handle any issues or concerns related to the fund's investments in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate and organized records of all fund transactions and documentation.
