Frontend Developer (Next.js + Tailwind) for Cinematic game Hunt Experience
We are building a cinematic, dark-themed urban game experience. We’re looking for a frontend developer with strong UI/UX taste to build (or rebuild) a landing + hunt flow using Next.js (App Router) and Tailwind CSS. This is not a typical landing page. It’s an immersive, story-driven experience with puzzles, progression, and safety rules. Tech Stack (Required) • Next.js 14+ (App Router) • Tailwind CSS • Responsive / mobile-first UI • Clean component architecture What needs to be built • Cinematic landing page (dark, minimal, premium) • Language support (Greek / English) • “Start Hunt” flow with Rules & Safety acceptance • Soft identity authentication (Google / Apple or magic link – no full accounts) • /hunt experience where puzzles appear progressively (not a dashboard) • Puzzle flow with automatic validation (server-side) • No AR, no physical object handling Important Architectural Notes • No full admin panel required • Puzzles are managed via server-only config files (puzzles.json + puzzles_dev.json) • A dev/preview hunt mode is required to test puzzles before going live • Security matters: puzzle answers must never be exposed to the client Out of Scope • Backend-heavy systems • Complex user profiles • Payments (for now) • Traditional CMS/admin dashboards Ideal Profile • Strong frontend/UI judgment (not just coding) • Experience with modern dark UI or cinematic layouts • Comfortable proposing better structure, not just executing specs This is a short-term project (landing + hunt flow) with potential for future work (mobile app, advanced hunts).
