About We’re partnering with one of the world’s leading AI companies on a project that uses real finance expertise to improve the reasoning, accuracy, and safety of large language models. As a Valuation Expert, you’ll use your real-world valuation and analytical experience to create, structure, or adapt commercial-grade financial models that help train AI systems to think more like skilled finance professionals. This is a remote, project-based role designed for mid- to senior-level finance professionals. Work is scoped and paid per approved deliverable, ideal as flexible work alongside your current role. What you'll do • Build or refine fully functional financial models with clear logic, consistent structure, and linked formulas. • Apply standard valuation methodologies (DCF, Comps, Multiples, IRR/MOIC, APV, etc.) using realistic assumptions. • Produce models that resemble real buy-side, sell-side, corporate finance, VC/PE, or diligence work. • Choose any publicly traded company to model and the level of complexity. You are a good fit if you • Have 2+ years in IB, PE/VC, corporate finance, FP&A, or equity research. • Regularly build or review advanced models in your day-to-day work. • Are fluent in Excel modeling. • Communicate clearly in English and deliver polished, self-contained work with minimal guidance. • Can commit to delivering multiple models during the project window. What to expect • Onboarding call: We align on scope, pricing (based on tiers and expected volume), and set you up as a contributor. • Contractor agreement: You’ll sign a contributor agreement before starting. • Create or contribute your existing model(s): Choose any publicly traded company and your preferred complexity tier. • Approval & Payment. We'll check models for structure, logic, and broken formulas. Any sensitive data is redacted. They are approved and you get paid.
