This role is ideal for experienced contributors who understand open‑source workflows, complex Git operations, and real‑world repository management. Base Pay Range $90.00/hr – $120.00/hr Employment Type Part‑time Seniority Level Mid‑Senior Who You Are • An open‑source developer or maintainer with experience contributing to and reviewing code in active repositories • Comfortable reasoning about Git at a deep, technical level • Skilled in debugging repository states and repairing broken commit histories without data loss Preferred Qualifications • 3+ years of software engineering experience in open‑source, backend development, or Dev Ops • Demonstrated contributions on Git Hub, Git Lab, or other OSS platforms • (Bonus) Experience in code review, open‑source governance, or AI/LLM model evaluation ⚡ PS: Mercor reviews applications daily.
