FP&A Analyst II
Imperative Care is changing the way stroke is treated, developing breakthroughs that will revolutionize the future of stroke care. The FP&A Analyst II will perform complex financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting to provide financial insights for decision-making in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Analyze financial data, identify variances, create performance scorecards, and prepare detailed reports for management Assist in developing long-range plans, budget plans, and financial models, proposing adjustments aligned with company goals Investigate discrepancies between actuals and forecasts, escalating significant findings to leadership Work closely with Accounting, business partners and other departments to gather data, provide financial context, and support strategic initiatives Support the automation and standardization of FP&A tools and systems and recommend improvements to financial processes Conduct special projects, business case analyses, and provide high-quality insights as needed by senior leadership Help maintain Adaptive Insight model platform and upload actuals for P&L, balance sheet, capex, headcount into the system monthly and as required Participate in monthly close, quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and long-term planning processes Help drive monthly actual versus budget plan reporting & variance analysis for department business partners, identify variances against forecast and generate commentary to communicate drivers Collaborate with Accounting on month-end close to ensure accuracy and completeness of expenses, accruals, and explanations of variances to plan Support process improvement efforts and participate in reporting enhancements, working closely with business optimization, sales operations, and data analytics teams, with a mindset of continuous improvement Skills Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, and 1-3 year of relevant experience; or a combination of education/training and experience Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams Excellent organizational skills and an ability to prioritize effectively to deliver results within reasonably established timelines; result-oriented with a strong belief in personal integrity and accountability Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and experience working with excel models Drive and ability to learn quickly and grow in a fast-paced environment Benefits Stock options Bonus Competitive salaries A 401k plan Health benefits Generous PTO A parental leave program Emotional health resources Company Overview Imperative Care is singularly dedicated to finding meaningful answers to unsolved problems in stroke.
