Financial Controller - FULLY REMOTE

Position Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-on Financial Controller to lead our client’s day-to-day financial operations. Accounting & Financial Planning • Manage and execute all core accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. • Implement and manage proper revenue recognition practices. • Ensure quality control over all financial transactions and reporting, regularly reviewing and improving the accuracy of the team’s output. • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies. • Coordinate closely with the CFO to prepare the annual budget and financial forecasts. • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing is maintained. • Provide regular support for other financial analyses as required. Reporting & Compliance • Manage and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements. • Prepare and publish timely and accurate monthly financial statements for each operating entity. • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting across jurisdictions. • Own and manage the US payroll and coordinate EOR payroll submissions. • Proactively manage tax filings across different states. • Prepare year-end accounts, as well as ensure thorough and efficiently complete audits and year-end filings. Qualifications • No more than 10 years of accounting experience • Active CPA license • Detailed knowledge and ownership of US taxes - federal, state, sales and payroll • Experience working internationally, especially with UK businesses • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance • Expert level experience in Google Suites, Excel, and QuickBooks • Possess or willing to obtain Passport Sourced. is hiring on behalf of this company.
