Financial Content Strategist & Creator Position: Financial Content Strategist & Creator Department: Marketing Reports to: Director of Marketing (or Digital Marketing Manager, depending on structure) Type: Full-time Role Summary We’re hiring a specialized content creator who understands financial planning and knows how to turn complex topics into clear, compelling content that earns attention and drives action. This role blends creative strategy + hands-on production, with a strong emphasis on short-form video and paid ad creative that supports lead generation. What You’ll Own Creative & Content Production • Create short-form video content (Reels/Shorts/TikTok) from concept to publish-ready edits • Write scripts, hooks, captions, and on-screen text that simplify financial topics without losing credibility • Build content series around our guides, campaigns, and seasonal themes • Repurpose long-form video into multiple short clips and supporting posts Paid Ad Creative (Core Priority) • Create and iterate paid social creative for Meta, YouTube, and LinkedIn • Produce monthly “creative test kits” (multiple hooks, angles, headlines, thumbnails, versions) • Collaborate with the digital team to test creatives, learn quickly, and improve performance Brand Consistency & Compliance Mindset • Maintain a polished, high-trust brand tone and visual style • Work comfortably within basic financial marketing guardrails (no hype, no promises, clear disclosures) What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days) • Establish a repeatable weekly production rhythm and content pipeline • Launch consistent short-form video output and ad creative testing • Build a “best performing hooks/angles library” for ongoing campaigns Required Qualifications • 3+ years creating content for a financial planning / wealth management firm (or an agency where financial services was a primary client) • Demonstrated experience producing paid ad creative, not just organic social • Strong writing ability: hooks, captions, headlines, CTAs • Skilled in video editing tools (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, or equivalent) • Portfolio required (paid + organic examples) Preferred Qualifications • Familiarity with compliance review workflows • Experience building content around lead magnets/guides and funnels Compensation • Competitive base salary + performance bonus, based on experience Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • AD&D insurance • Dental insurance • Disability insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: Remote Apply tot his job
