Responsibilities Summary: Responsible for moderately complex financial analyses and reports for department management. Prepares and analyzes major financial forecasts, supports the annual budget process, and conducts operational and statistical analyses. The role increasingly leverages AI and automation technologies to improve business processes and drive efficiency in financial planning and analysis. May perform other financial research projects and analyses of operational results. Responsibilities: Prepares detailed product/customer/supplier reports to support financial decisions. Collects, analyzes, evaluates, and reports data to increase sales productivity or operational efficiency. Prepares revenue and / or expense forecasts, variance analyses, and financial close packages. Supports monthly and quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and board presentation packages. Completes ad hoc reports/analyses, as necessary. Assists with mergers and acquisitions, capital review, and the design and standardization of operating metric analysis. Provides analytical support for corporate functions and operations, including automation initiatives. Supports forecasting with detailed department-level review of future cost trends. Identifies trends and makes recommendations to provide revenue enhancement, cost savings or profit improvement. Develop complex tools, techniques, and analysis for use in decision making. Develops formulas, methods, and procedures to document and support analysis. May assume other duties as applied. Qualifications Required Skills: Strong analytical skills Proficiency using Microsoft Office (strong emphasis on Excel); utilization of JDE and Jedox preferred. Specific proficiencies or abilities (e.g., software applications, certifications, licenses, etc.) Possess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of finance, accounting, or related field of specialization Solid knowledge of organization’s technologies and practices Ability to assimilate broad source data into planning models and identify variances and trends Foundational knowledge of AI and automation, with a willingness to learn and apply these tools in financial planning and analysis Ability to work with spreadsheets, scripting (e.g., Python, VBA), or RPA tools to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency Comfortable learning new technologies, interpreting data, and supporting automation initiatives under guidance Preferred Skills: Knowledge of Cognos or other BI Software Knowledge of business analytics and data visualization Physical Role Requirements : Be seated at a computer intermittently for up to eight hours a day. Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects. Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers and phones. Repetitive motions using hands and digits; such as movement of wrists, hands and fingers while picking, pinching and typing during your normal working environment. Minimum Education, Licensure and Professional Certification requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related discipline required, Master’s degree preferred, CPA/CFA preferred Minimum Experience required (number of years necessary to perform role) : 2+ years of experience required in a finance-related field or accounting Other/State Specific This role pays between $70 k_ _to $75 k_ _, and your actual base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, responsibilities, experience, and location.
