Finance Analyst

They are hiring a Finance Analyst to manage financial operations, contribute to the monthly close and forecasting process, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data as the company scales. Responsibilities Own defined components of the monthly close process, including preparation, review, and variance analysis, in partnership with Accounting and Finance leadership Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of financial data across close schedules, financial statements, and supporting analyses Investigate discrepancies and root causes in financial results; drive process improvements to prevent recurring issues Support revenue recognition, accruals, and operational finance workflows tied to how the business operates Help design, document, and improve financial processes that support scalable, repeatable reporting Maintain and improve financial models, reporting templates, and system workflows to reduce manual effort and errors Partner with Accounting and Operations to ensure financial systems reflect business reality and reporting needs Strengthen controls and data integrity as the company grows in complexity Maintain core financial and operating metrics used by leadership and the board Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting that is accurate, timely, and decision-ready Ensure alignment between financial reporting, operational metrics, and source systems Support cross-functional initiatives by providing financial insight grounded in how the business operates Assist with ad hoc analyses related to pricing, ROI, headcount planning, and investment decisions Act as a reliable finance partner to stakeholders across the organization Skills At minimum 1-2 years of experience in finance, accounting, consulting, banking, or a related analytical role Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and comfort working with detailed, imperfect data Solid understanding of financial statements and how underlying activity translates into reported results Exposure to forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, or comparable analytical processes Ability to take ownership of workstreams, investigate issues, and follow them through to resolution Interested in operating within a growing business where financial processes are actively being built and improved Company Overview Nayya is a software and data infrastructure company that helps employees control their health and financial potential.
