They are seeking a Field Engineer to oversee construction activities, ensure compliance with project specifications, and maintain communication with contractors and project teams. Responsibilities Overseeing daily construction activities and ensuring compliance with the projects’ specifications, timeline, and budget Addressing and resolving issues that may arise during the construction process Daily interaction with the contractor and project team to confirm the project remains on schedule and under budget Maintaining detailed records of daily construction operations Attend weekly meetings and provide updates to AR project manager Skills Bachelor's Degree – construction management or civil engineering degree 1-2 years of field experience Ability to interact daily with both the client and contractor on the project Ability to read plans and specifications Proficiency in Microsoft Office Have a team player mindset with the ability to communicate proficiently in written and verbal forms Have good to great organizational skills Strong problem-solving skills Proficiency in construction management and scheduling software such as Procore and P6 OSHA 10 or 30 hour training completed Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans 401K Paid Maternity Leave Competitive PTO Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Company Overview Ardmore Roderick is one of the largest minority-owned engineering firms that offers a unique set of services and varying areas of expertise.
