Role Overview: Virtual Testing & Simulation Quality Assurance Engineer We are seeking an exceptional Quality Assurance Engineer with expertise in virtual testing and simulation to join our MSP team. As a Virtual Testing & Simulation Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing virtual platforms to test and verify solutions through simulations and emulations with high fidelity. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including Product Teams, QA Manual Testing and Requirements Teams, and internal customers, to drive high-quality product delivery and ensure that new solutions meet customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and execute simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions using real-life software. Ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training, deployment, process integration, and service support prior to delivery. Identify and set quality standards and parameters for products, communicating these to hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams. Coordinate simulations and testing processes, analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, and recommending solutions to these issues. Collaborate with internal customers, reviewing client, customer, and user feedback to inform product development and improvement. Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field. 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams, with expertise in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance. Proven experience in fulfillment systems, including storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment. Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing. Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with team members, operations, and management. Project management skills, with the ability to start and finish projects successfully.
