About the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Team The Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) team at blithequark is at the forefront of innovation, driving future advancements across all aspects of mechatronics and packaging. We collaborate with key stakeholders, including Operations, RME, ACES, Supply Chain, Transportation, WW Design, and more, to deliver robust products that seamlessly integrate into our fulfillment network. Our team's primary focus is on developing and implementing virtual testing and simulation platforms to validate system-level requirements, ensuring integrated system performance across all sub-components, including hardware automation and controls, software applications, and materials compatibility. Key Responsibilities of the Virtual Testing & Simulation Quality Assurance Engineer As a Virtual Testing & Simulation Quality Assurance Engineer at blithequark, you will play a critical role in developing and executing virtual system test plans (simulations) to validate system-level requirements, meet customer deliverables, and ensure integrated system performance. Your key responsibilities will include: Developing, implementing, and executing simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions with real-life software Ensuring that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training and learning, deployment, process- and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) integration, service, and support prior to delivery Identifying and setting appropriate quality standards and parameters for products, and communicating these standards to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams Coordinating simulations and testing processes, and identifying and analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, recommending and facilitating solutions to these issues Collaborating with internal customers, reviewing client, customer, and user feedback, and maintaining compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies Essential Qualifications for Success To excel in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or a related discipline 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams, with expertise in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance Proven experience in fulfillment systems, including storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites Preferred Qualifications for Enhanced Success While not required, the following qualifications will enhance your success in this role: Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with team members, operations, and management Project management skills, with the ability to start and finish projects successfully Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
