Role Overview: Virtual Testing & Simulation Quality Assurance Engineer We are seeking an exceptional Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Virtual Testing team, where you will play a critical role in developing virtual platforms to test and verify solutions through simulations and emulations. As a key member of our team, you will partner with Product Teams to drive high-quality product delivery, synchronize virtual and physical tests with the QA Manual Testing and Requirements Team, and ensure that new solutions meet the requirements of our internal customers, including Operations, Maintenance, Process, and Ops Engineering. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and execute simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions using real-life software. Ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training, deployment, process integration, and service prior to delivery. Identify and set quality standards and parameters for products, communicating these to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams. Coordinate simulations and testing processes, analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, and recommending solutions to these issues. Connect with internal customers, review client, customer, and user feedback, and maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams, with expertise in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance. Proven experience in fulfillment systems, including storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment. Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing. Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with team members, operations, and management. Project management skills, with the ability to start and finish projects successfully.
