About the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Team The Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) team at arenaflex is dedicated to driving innovation across all aspects of mechatronics and packaging. We design, develop, and integrate industrial hardware and control machines, including robotic cells, autonomous vehicles, sortation systems, packing technologies, and packaging materials. Our team partners with key stakeholders, such as Operations, RME, ACES, Supply Chain, Transportation, and WW Design, to ensure seamless integration of our products into the arenaflex Fulfillment network. Job Overview We are seeking an exceptional Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Virtual Testing & Simulation team. As a key member of this team, you will develop and execute virtual system test plans, simulations, and emulations to validate system-level requirements, meet customer deliverables, and ensure integrated system performance across all sub-components. Your expertise will be crucial in creating simulation environments to early validate and stress-test end-to-end solutions, ensuring that new solutions are ready for operation, maintenance, deployment, process integration, and support. Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and execute simulations and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) testing to virtually validate end-to-end solutions using real-life software Ensure that products meet required specifications for quality, function, operation, reliability, maintenance, training, deployment, process integration, and support prior to delivery Identify and set appropriate quality standards and parameters for products, communicating these to the product team, including hardware, software, controls, and materials development teams Coordinate simulations and testing processes, identifying and analyzing issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, and recommending solutions Collaborate with internal customers, reviewing client, customer, and user feedback to inform product development and improvement Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and organizational laws, regulations, guidelines, and policies Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree (BS) in a relevant field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline 5+ years of proven experience working with large cross-functional engineering teams, with expertise in modeling, simulation, testing, integration, and/or quality assurance Proven experience in fulfillment systems, including storage equipment, material handling systems, automated sortation systems, and related automation equipment Excellent time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Ability to travel up to 70% to business locations and project sites, as required Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience with complex automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and systems, including robotics and high-speed manufacturing Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with team members, operations, and management Project management skills, with experience starting and finishing projects successfully Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and precision Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Analytical and abstract thinking, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Career Growth and Learning Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
