Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Vehicle Operator to join our team as a Seasonal Support Driver. This part-time opportunity requires flexibility and a strong work ethic, with shifts assigned in the morning based on operational needs and your availability. As a Seasonal Support Driver, you'll be responsible for delivering packages throughout your community, working independently and as part of a team to meet our customers' needs. Key Responsibilities * Deliver packages throughout your community under your own steam, using your own vehicle * Lift up to 70 pounds and maintain a high level of physical activity throughout your shift * Comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform * Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle, adhering to UPS's vehicle standards * Work independently and as part of a team to meet operational needs and customer expectations * Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns * Maintain accurate records and reports, as required Requirements * A valid driver's license in the state you live * No experience necessary, but a strong work ethic and ability to work independently are essential * Legal right to work in the U.S. * Ability to lift up to 70 pounds and maintain a high level of physical activity throughout your shift * Seasonal Support Drivers are expected to comply with UPS appearance guidelines and wear the company-provided uniform * Vehicle must be registered and insured, with a minimum of State insurance required * No other company logos or markings, bumper stickers, or offensive markings are allowed on the vehicle * Vehicles must be under 10,000 pounds and, if a truck, must have a covered and secured bed Benefits * Part-time opportunity with flexible scheduling * Excellent hourly pay, including mileage reimbursement of .67 cents per mile * Paid weekly * Deliver from the comfort of your own car * No experience necessary * This is a seasonal role, which can lead to a permanent position with even more advantages and benefits Career Growth Opportunities As a Seasonal Support Driver, you'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience, potentially leading to a permanent position within UPS.
