As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be the primary point of contact for these teams, providing expert technical support, guidance, and advocacy to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient content creation. Key Responsibilities As a Technical Support Engineer at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include: Providing technical support to external content teams, addressing issues, and resolving problems in a timely and professional manner Creating comprehensive reference materials and delivering training sessions to onboard new teams and ensure they are proficient in using our toolset Debugging and troubleshooting issues with tools and workflows, escalating complex problems to the development team, and collaborating with production to track issues in JIRA Advocating for tool improvements, workflow enhancements, and suggestions from external teams, ensuring that their voices are heard and their needs are met Partnering with other engineers to develop innovative tools and processes that drive efficiency, quality, and productivity Leading cross-disciplinary discussions to drive feature development from concept to completion, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and engaged Embodying the values of reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all interactions, both within blithequark and with external partners Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience Experience supporting live services or tool environments, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities that come with this type of work Proficiency in Unity 3D game and tool development, with a solid grasp of the technical aspects of content creation Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools and systems Experience with iOS and Android mobile development, with a understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities of mobile content creation A minimum of 5 years' experience delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your technical expertise Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working with external content creation teams, with a deep understanding of their needs and challenges Strong knowledge of C# code, with the ability to read, write, and debug code with ease Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with external partners and internal stakeholders A positive attitude and a willingness to receive and provide constructive feedback, with a growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical expertise, with a strong understanding of content creation tools and workflows Communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with external partners and internal stakeholders Problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and troubleshoot complex issues Collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-disciplinary teams Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to learn and adapt to new tools, systems, and processes Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees, and we offer a range of opportunities for learning and career advancement.
