Experienced Technical Support Engineer for External Content Creation Teams – Remote Opportunity with arenaflex

As a key player in the external support team, the Technical Support Engineer will serve as the primary point of contact for external content creation teams, providing technical assistance and support for the tools developed by the internal development team. Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including: Providing technical support to content and external teams in regards to the use of content tools, ensuring timely resolution of issues and minimal downtime Creating reference materials and delivering training sessions to get external teams up to speed with the toolset, promoting efficiency and productivity Debugging and solving possible issues with tools and workflows, escalating complex problems to the tool development team as needed Collaborating with the production team to track issues in JIRA, ensuring effective communication and follow-up Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams, driving innovation and growth Partnering with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality, contributing to the development of best practices Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion, fostering a culture of collaboration and creativity Exemplifying reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions, upholding the highest standards of excellence Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must possess: A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience Experience supporting a live service or tool environment, with a strong understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this context Unity 3D game and tool development experience, with a solid grasp of the technical aspects of content creation Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software, with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize issues iOS and Android mobile development experience, with a understanding of the complexities and opportunities of mobile platforms 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment, with a proven track record of success and achievement Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working with external partners, with a strong understanding of the importance of effective communication and collaboration Ability to read and understand C# code, with a solid grasp of programming principles and practices Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders Positive attitude and ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback, with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Strong technical skills, with a solid understanding of programming principles and practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with external partners and internal stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative and self-motivation Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively debug and resolve complex technical issues Commitment to continuous learning and improvement, with a strong desire to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees, and offer a range of opportunities for learning and advancement.
