Experienced Technical Support Engineer for External Content Creation Teams – Netflix Data Entry and Tools Engineering

Key Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of tasks, including: Providing technical support to content and external teams in regards to the use of content tools Creating reference materials and providing training to get external teams up to speed with the toolset Solving and debugging possible issues with tools and workflows to quickly resolve issues for users Escalating more complex or problematic issues to the tool development team and working with production to track these issues in JIRA Advocating for tools, workflow improvements, and suggestions from external teams Partnering with other engineers to develop tools and processes that improve efficiency and quality Guiding or leading cross-disciplinary dialogs to drive features from initial concept to completion Exemplifying reliability, accountability, and professionalism in all work-related interactions Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience Experience supporting a live service or tool environment Unity 3D game and tool development experience Experience with Jira, Confluence, or other defect tracking software iOS and Android mobile development experience 5 years' experience in delivering production-level code in a professional environment Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Experience with C# code and the ability to read and understand it Good written and verbal communication skills, including working with external partners A positive attitude and the ability to receive and provide objective and constructive feedback Excellent organization skills and the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a range of skills and competencies, including: Technical skills: proficiency in C#, Unity 3D, Jira, Confluence, and iOS and Android mobile development Communication skills: excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with external partners Problem-solving skills: the ability to solve and debug complex issues with tools and workflows Collaboration skills: the ability to work with cross-disciplinary teams to drive features from initial concept to completion Time management skills: the ability to prioritize and manage numerous requests simultaneously Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Netflix, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
