We are now seeking experienced Structural Concrete Carpenters to join our team of skilled professionals in the South Orange County, CA area. As a Concrete Carpenter with Ekedal, you will play a crucial role in building forms for poured-in-place walls, ensuring the highest quality and precision in every project. Role Snapshot Start Date: Immediate openings available Position: Structural Concrete Carpenters Company: Ekedal Concrete, Inc. Compensation: Competitive salary ($25 - $30 an hour) Location: South Orange County, CA Key Responsibilities As a Structural Concrete Carpenter with Ekedal, your primary responsibilities will include: Building forms for poured-in-place walls Pouring, setting, and leveling concrete forms Tying rebar as needed Breaking and repairing finished concrete Moving materials and digging Collaborating with crew members to ensure project completion Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should have: 1-2 years of experience as a Concrete Carpenter (apprentice level) Experience with power tools and their safe use Experience building forms and pouring concrete Proficiency with power tools and their safe use Experience with poured-in-place walls A good attitude and a strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience running crews for structural concrete Previous experience working with Ekedal Concrete, Inc. or similar companies Knowledge of construction safety protocols and procedures Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Structural Concrete Carpenter with Ekedal, you should possess: Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Physical stamina to work 8 hours a day, 5 days a week Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Ekedal, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
