We're looking for a creative and collaborative Social Lead, Channel Communications to join our team and help drive our communications strategy forward. About the Role As a Social Lead, Channel Communications, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing high-impact social strategies that advance awareness of Airbnb's unique benefits and foster conversation around the brand. You will partner with key stakeholders to design and deliver social-forward programming rooted in pop culture, inform global brand and partner social content direction, and analyze campaign results to optimize performance. Key Responsibilities Develop and oversee high-visibility, high-impact social strategies to achieve global communications goals across TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter/X Partner with key Consumer and Entertainment stakeholders to design and deliver social-forward programming rooted in pop culture Inform global brand and partner social content direction, capture, and copy; manage internal approvals; and lead cross-channel brand engagement strategies Analyze managed social campaign results, applying learnings in real-time to strengthen performance Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you should have: 8-10 years of experience in social media, with a deep understanding of the latest trends and best practices Expertise in building and executing creative and innovative social strategies across Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X Experience in crafting and leading social media strategies in the celebrity, entertainment, and film spaces Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences Excellent attention to detail, with a keen eye for quality and consistency A passion for pop culture and trends, with the ability to stay ahead of the curve Experience working with and managing multiple stakeholders, with the ability to navigate complex collaborations Working knowledge and familiarity with social listening and measurement tools like Sprinklr Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Experience working in the travel or hospitality industry, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities Knowledge of Airbnb's brand and values, with a passion for our mission to create a world where anyone can belong anywhere Experience with social media content creation, including video production and graphic design Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex challenges and opportunities Collaboration and partnership-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Creativity and innovation, with the ability to stay ahead of the curve and drive new ideas forward Analytical and data-driven thinking, with the ability to measure campaign performance and optimize results Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and build strong relationships Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Airbnb, we're committed to helping our team members grow and develop their skills.
