The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Financial Planning and Analysis to join our team. As a key financial resource for our rapidly growing e-commerce IT capability, you will play a critical role in driving business decisions and strategy. Your expertise will be essential in creating, managing, and analyzing our annual plan, ongoing financial forecasts, and five-year strategic plan. You will also develop tools and reports that provide insights to the business, working closely with senior leadership to drive key decisions in the e-commerce IT space. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with senior leaders to develop the strategic financial plan for the e-commerce IT business Aid in the development of financial strategies, plans, and processes to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness within the e-commerce IT capability Work closely with the e-commerce IT team to consolidate plans and forecasts, as well as analyze actual financial performance and trends Partner in developing and supporting Enterprise digital transformation as arenaflex moves to a new agile working model and rebalances its contractor and internal resource mix Implement tools, processes, and reporting that enhance accuracy and identify growth and cost savings opportunities Lead the capital planning process by collaborating with our PMO and Finance teams, including approval and post-mortem analysis with the goal of optimizing financial resource allocation for digital and e-commerce initiatives Collaborate with e-commerce and finance partners to integrate digital, e-commerce, and IT finance plans and forecasts into the overall financial framework Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as directed, with a focus on digital, e-commerce, and IT finance-related topics Provide management and guidance to Financial Analyst(s) within the FP&A team, ensuring their work aligns with digital, e-commerce, and IT finance requirements Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 4 years of professional financial experience in a retail or consumer products organization Experience in a financial support role in a retail category management environment is desirable Experience with agile working models and/or technology support and related financials is a plus Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred Advanced analytical skills combined with the ability to interpret findings, communicate effectively, and make recommendations Proficiency in advanced Excel and Access skills Ability to influence executives through financial analysis and interpersonal skills Ability to build teams, processes, and models that deliver desired results Intrinsic curiosity regarding managing operations and financial results A strong desire to see individual and organizational efforts lead to bottom-line results Knowledge of financial processes and internal controls Comfort working both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, or Business Intelligence systems is useful Prior FP&A experience is strongly preferred Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable: Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Knowledge of e-commerce and IT finance-related topics Experience with financial planning and analysis software Certification in finance or a related field (e.g., CFA, CPA) Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
