Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive business growth, increase revenue, and enhance client satisfaction Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including C-level executives, to identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth Lead cross-functional teams to achieve exceptional results, including sales, marketing, and operations Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new product development and market expansion Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' businesses, including their goals, challenges, and opportunities Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement solutions that meet our clients' needs and drive business growth Provide exceptional client service, including responding to client inquiries, resolving issues, and providing timely and effective solutions Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the competitive landscape, including market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies Stay up-to-date with industry developments, including new products, services, and technologies that can help drive business growth and improve client satisfaction Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field Minimum 5 years of experience in client management, sales, or business development, preferably in the financial services industry Proven track record of driving business growth, increasing revenue, and enhancing client satisfaction Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills Strong business acumen, including a deep understanding of financial concepts, including revenue growth, profitability, and return on investment Ability to think strategically, including developing and executing strategic account plans and identifying new business opportunities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop effective solutions Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including prioritizing multiple tasks, managing competing deadlines, and maintaining a high level of productivity Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following preferred qualifications and skills will be highly regarded: Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field Professional certification in sales, marketing, or business development, such as the Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Certified Marketing Professional (CMP) designations Experience working in a virtual or remote environment, including the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities Strong understanding of the financial services industry, including market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies Experience working with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations Strong data analysis skills, including the ability to analyze complex data sets and develop effective solutions Experience working with clients in a B2B environment, including the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At American Express, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
