Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Data Science Analyst to join our Search and Recommendations Analysis team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to inform the development of our product recommendations. You will work closely with a high-performing team of engineers, AI engineers/data scientists, and product managers who are at the forefront of the product suggestion space. Your work will involve designing, running, and analyzing the results of A/B tests of new recommendation algorithms and procedures, as well as developing new testing and test analysis techniques. Key Responsibilities Run exploratory data analysis to identify novel ideas and opportunities Design and run A/B tests of our latest recommendations algorithms Proactively monitor our recommendation models to identify potential issues, determine underlying drivers, and resolve Build new tools that allow us to be more efficient and effective Work closely and build useful relationships with our product, engineering, and AI partners Communicate key insights and recommendations to cross-functional executive leaders across the organization Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in data science and analysis, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills. The following qualifications and skills are required: 2+ years of professional experience in a quantitative role (in addition to any graduate education) Analysis or Data Science experience with e-commerce companies is a strong plus In-depth experience with SQL (full capabilities, query optimization, stored procedures, string parsing, Vertica/Hive/Voila/Flash, etc.), required In-depth experience with Python and Python tools (Jupyter notebooks, functions, pandas, sklearn, matplotlib, etc.), required Experience with experimental design (A/B tests) and statistical analysis to drive business decisions, highly preferred Knowledge and experience using machine learning algorithms/techniques (decision trees, random forest, deep learning, etc.) within a business setting, highly preferred Strong written and verbal communication with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset Ability to collaborate and proactively communicate with stakeholders Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results Thrives in a fast-paced environment Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and technical abilities along with problem-solving skills What We Offer At arenaflex, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that allows our employees to thrive.
