Job Summary We are seeking experienced Senior Data Engineers to join our team at blithequark. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to organize business data requirements, identify data needs and sources, and develop data designs and implementations. You will also be responsible for creating and maintaining documentation of data requirements and data stories, ensuring consistent integration into existing data structures. Key Responsibilities Work with cross-functional teams to organize business data requirements and identify data needs and sources Develop data designs and implementations, and create and maintain documentation of data requirements and data stories Ensure consistent integration into existing data structures, and collect and improve an information catalog and framework that supports the business portfolio Perform database design, development, and testing, and provide production environment support for database structures and processes Design data features for advancing runs, and monitor data requirements considering industry trends, new technologies, known distortions, and issues Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and implement data models and algorithms, and work with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data requirements Develop and maintain large-scale data systems, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines, and ensure data quality, security, and compliance Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have a graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related STEM field, followed by at least 2 years of experience in data engineering or a related field. You will also need to have experience in database design, development, and testing, as well as experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance.
