Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of our event-driven data pipelines on AWS. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of AWS native event-driven services, such as Amazon EventBridge, AWS Lambda, and AWS Step Functions, as well as experience with data engineering best practices, including data modeling, data quality, and data security. Proficiency in Python, NoSQL, and Kinesis is also essential for this role. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain event-driven data pipelines on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and define data requirements, and implement data quality checks and monitoring Optimize data pipelines for performance and cost, and stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies and innovations Develop and implement personalization algorithms using Python and Pydantic models, and build and maintain DynamoDB tables and NoSQL databases Utilize Amazon Kinesis to collect, process, and analyze streaming data, and ensure data security and compliance with industry standards Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong foundation in data engineering, with a bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or a related field. You will also need to have a minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering, with a solid understanding of AWS native event-driven services, data modeling, data quality, and data security. Proficiency in Python and serverless technologies is also essential, as well as excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
