Job Overview Under moderate supervision, the Senior Data Analyst will plan and execute cycles and arrangements related to a wide variety of informational indexes utilized for data/text mining, analysis, and insights to enable informed business decisions. This is a full-time remote position, offering a competitive salary of $25 per hour, with a standard 8-hour workday. The ideal candidate will be based in Nashville, USA, and will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and quantitative business problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Apply statistical analysis procedures to inspect structured and unstructured data from multiple disparate sources, gaining insights into key business issues and expectations. Develop and implement solutions from initial concept to production, communicating results to a broad range of audiences. Utilize current and emerging technologies to assess trends and foster significant insights and recommendations to management, via understanding of the business model and the data available for analysis. Drive navigation through the use of data, statistical and quantitative analysis, limited modeling, and fact-based management. Mentor less senior staff, working in cross-functional teams and projects, and presenting to management as required. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or a quantitative discipline, such as mathematics, engineering, operations research, economics, or finance. At least 3 years of work experience in measurement and analysis, quantitative business problem-solving, operations research, marketing analysis, simulation development, or predictive analytics. Proficiency in analysis software and applications. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present results to a broad range of audiences. Preferred Qualifications Experience or coursework with Agile methodologies, such as SAFE Scrum. Experience with the following: requirements gathering; probability and statistics; TSQL/PLSQL; Python or R; mathematical modeling; discrete event simulation; data visualization. Proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Power BI, Alteryx, Python/R, automation, revenue data, and basic accounting information.
