Your primary responsibility will be to transform these recordings into accurate, verbatim transcripts, adhering to established style guides and client specifications. Key Responsibilities Accurately process audio recordings and transform them into precise verbatim transcripts, ensuring 100% accuracy and adherence to client style guidelines. Edit AI-generated text to ensure it meets the required standards, making necessary corrections and adjustments as needed. Manage your own schedule to meet deadlines consistently, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining a high level of productivity. Maintain a high level of quality control, adhering to VIQ Solutions' quality standards and client expectations. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in transcription and editing. Required Skills and Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess a unique combination of skills and qualifications. These include: Exceptional listening abilities with a focus on detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in your work. Strong command of literacy skills, including comprehension, spelling, and grammar, to produce high-quality transcripts. Proficient typing skills, both in speed and accuracy, to meet productivity requirements. Demonstrable experience in transcription or audio editing, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
