Key Responsibilities As an Analyst II, Quality Engineer at Walmart, your key responsibilities will include: Conducting root cause analysis to improve processes in an intelligent and innovative way Extracting data and developing useful tools to provide key metrics to drive improvement Building associations with process owners to identify top losses and recognize causes Delivering projects from start to finish, working closely with project managers and other stakeholders Collaborating with the project manager to implement newly deployed tools and processes Providing effective leadership and fostering a culture of continuous improvement Developing innovative and creative solutions to complex problems Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, computer science, or mathematics SQL experience to provide insight into processes and recommendations for systems improvement A strong understanding of BigQuery and experience with Microsoft SQL Server Informix experience and knowledge of Microsoft PowerApps Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders A self-motivated and agile approach to learning, with the ability to apply knowledge in a practical way Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering projects and improving processes Knowledge of quality engineering principles and methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Lean Experience with data analysis and visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI A strong understanding of business operations and the ability to think strategically Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Technical skills: SQL, BigQuery, Microsoft SQL Server, Informix, Microsoft PowerApps Business acumen: understanding of business operations and the ability to think strategically Communication skills: excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders Problem-solving skills: ability to develop innovative and creative solutions to complex problems Leadership skills: ability to provide effective leadership and foster a culture of continuous improvement Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Walmart, we are committed to helping our associates grow and develop their careers.
