About the Role In this exciting and challenging role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with blithequark members in a fast-paced inbound contact center, providing them with an outstanding experience. Your primary responsibility will be to build trust and create sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication, ensuring that every caller receives exceptional service. You will apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations, effectively handling customer concerns and ensuring empathetic resolution. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members, while maintaining accurate records of all interactions and changes. Key Responsibilities: Provide exceptional service to every caller, building trust and creating sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills to research and communicate solutions in a variety of situations Effectively handle customer concerns by utilizing available resources to provide accurate information and ensure empathetic resolution Collaborate with internal teams to ensure thorough and timely resolutions for all members Maintain accurate records of all interactions and changes, ensuring compliance with communication standards and confidentiality of policy owner information Stay up-to-date with blithequark's policies, procedures, and products, continuously improving knowledge and skills to deliver exceptional service Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position, where there is a high value placed on the customer/member experience. Insurance or call center experience is preferred, and you should have demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude, technical aptitude, and experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies. A basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures, as well as knowledge of various insurance products, are also preferred. You should have completed high school and have some college-level coursework, and be able to support a VPN with a minimum internet speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload. Essential Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service-related position Demonstrated basic mathematical aptitude Technical aptitude with experience navigating and operating multiple computer applications and telephone technologies High School Diploma required; some college-level coursework preferred Must possess internet with a minimum speed of 25MB download and 5MB upload and be able to support a VPN Preferred Qualifications: Insurance or call center experience Basic understanding and knowledge of life insurance company operations, policies, and procedures Knowledge of various insurance products Completion of insurance industry or LOMA coursework What We Offer At blithequark, we offer a dynamic work environment with excellent benefits, competitive compensation, and opportunities for growth and development.
