Job Overview As a remote inbound customer service representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for handling a high volume of calls from customers, providing exceptional support, and offering additional products and services to eligible customers. You will work from the comfort of your own home, with a dedicated office space, and enjoy a flexible schedule with daytime shifts (7am-7pm Eastern, Monday to Friday). arenaflex provides the necessary equipment, and you will need to have a high-speed internet connection to perform your duties. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound customer calls, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues related to power outages, payments, payment plans, and service start/end dates Offer additional products and services, such as surge protection, home wiring, and water heater repairs, to eligible customers Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for each customer interaction Meet and exceed performance goals, including phone time, customer experience, and sales targets Work independently in a remote setting, managing your time effectively to meet program goals and objectives Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: Prior recent experience (at least 1 year) as an inbound customer service agent, with a proven track record of upselling and cross-selling Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate goals and results to the interview team Technical savviness, with the ability to easily learn and navigate multiple screens and enter data while engaging with customers Time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a remote setting High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service and upselling/cross-selling Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working in the power industry or a related field Familiarity with customer service software and technology Previous experience working in a remote or home-based setting Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively Adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately enter data and maintain records Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
