Job Summary We're seeking experienced and compassionate Remote Healthcare Billing and Customer Service Representatives to join our team. As a remote representative, you will work from the comfort of your own home, with a mandatory one-day in-office orientation at our Denver/Aurora office for local residents. You will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service to patients and their families, explaining medical bills, answering questions, and resolving account balances. Key Responsibilities Utilize empathy, active listening, and excellent verbal and written communication skills to help patients and their families understand complex medical bills and resolve financial concerns. Provide exceptional customer service, collaborating with patients over the phone to establish affordable payment plans and process payments. Accurately document all calls and follow-ups in our software systems, demonstrating strong computer proficiency, organization, and attention to detail. Support your fellow team members with consistent attendance, a strong work ethic, and a caring team focus, contributing to a positive and productive work environment. Continuously improve your skills and knowledge through supportive coaching, feedback, and ongoing training, ensuring that you're equipped to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business growth. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: Previous experience in customer service, healthcare billing, or a related field, with a strong understanding of medical billing concepts and terminology. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to empathize with patients and their families. Strong computer proficiency, including experience with software systems and technology. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, with a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace. High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven track record of success in a home-based setting. Certifications or training in customer service, healthcare billing, or a related field, such as CPC, CPB, or CHAA. Experience with electronic health records (EHRs) and practice management systems (PMS). Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families who speak languages other than English. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package, with a base annual salary ranging from $37,440 to $43,680, depending on experience. In addition to your base salary, you'll be eligible for monthly performance bonuses, ranging from $100 to $400, as well as company and individual team contests, with prizes and rewards ranging from $200 to $300 per month.
