About the Team and the Role The Amazon Customer Service organization is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences through cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions. As an Executive Assistant, you will be part of a team that powers the technology behind Amazon's Customer Service, including chat and voice bots, associate-facing tools, and products that champion the voice of the customer. You will support a Senior Principal Engineer and a Director on the Customer Service Leadership Team, ensuring seamless communication and coordination among team members. Key Responsibilities Your responsibilities as an Executive Assistant will include: Managing complex calendars and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations Coordinating domestic and international travel arrangements Managing expense report coordination and submission Organizing, executing, and assisting with team activities, such as staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events Ensuring the timely completion of critical tasks and following up on outstanding matters as a liaison for direct reports Working closely with the leadership team, program managers, recruiting, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization Helping to develop and maintain new mechanisms within the team A Day in the Life As an Executive Assistant, your day-to-day activities will be focused on ensuring that the Customer Service Leadership Team can meet customer needs in a timely and efficient manner. You will play a key role in connecting leaders with the most pressing issues, ensuring that engineers feel connected to their work, and continuously improving their technical skills through in-person community and learning events. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: At least 5 years of senior-level leadership support experience or 3 years of Amazon experience A high school diploma or equivalent Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications Experience with executive-level calendar management Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience leading process improvements Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills. You should be able to work independently, think critically, and make sound judgments. Additionally, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, and have experience with calendar management tools. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Additionally, you may be eligible for equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of a total compensation package.
