Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain enterprise data storage systems, including NAS, SAN, and DAS conditions, to ensure high availability and performance. Implement and maintain enterprise backup and data security technologies, such as encryption, access controls, and intrusion detection systems. Efficiently manage and monitor reporting platforms and software, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Define and implement storage capacity planning strategies, based on industry standards and best practices, to ensure scalability and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with application, database, server, and other technology teams on architecture and configuration selection, ensuring alignment with blithequark's overall IT strategy. Provide technical support and guidance on complex activities, such as installation, configuration, and backup/restore operations, to ensure seamless operations. Perform code updates and security patching to maintain the integrity of storage systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have: 3+ years of experience in data storage or a related field, with emphasis on networking and storage protocols. Industry knowledge and experience with large-scale SAN design and implementation, including DellEMC, Cisco, and similar OEMs. Proven expertise in enterprise storage administration, with skill in managing and maintaining complex storage systems. Strong understanding of current and emerging data protection technologies, including backup and recovery, encryption, and access controls. Experience with NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3), as well as data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS. Operating system administration skills (both Linux and Windows), with experience in managing and maintaining virtualized environments. VMWare concepts and administration, with knowledge of virtualization technologies and their applications.
