Job Overview As a Remote Chat Service Agent at blithequark, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our customers through multiple channels, including chat and mobile messaging. You will work independently to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and resolve customer inquiries while building strong relationships with our customers. Your goal will be to exceed customer satisfaction, efficiency metrics, and issue resolution targets, all while continuously looking for areas of improvement and communicating trends to leadership. Key Responsibilities Independently troubleshoot, problem-solve, and resolve customer service inquiries while building a relationship with the customer Provide service to customers on multiple channels (chat and mobile messaging, with potential expansion to other methods) to assist with post-order issues, such as returns, replacements, refunds, delivery status, backorder inquiries, and other issues that may arise in the order fulfillment process Exceed customer satisfaction, efficiency metrics, and issue resolution targets Continuously look for areas of improvement and communicate trends in customer calls to leadership as appropriate Simultaneously navigate multiple customer conversations using software applications and blithequark tools/resources Demonstrate conflict management skills and maintain professional composure Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication using multiple channels and platforms Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: Essential Qualifications Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically while working in a fast-paced environment Resourcefulness and ability to independently problem-solve Ability to work with multiple customers simultaneously while prioritizing and engaging with their issues Excellent relationship-building skills with a passion for helping others Strong organization and multi-tasking skills A successful track record working in a high-volume environment Regular and reliable attendance Equivalent customer-facing work experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong typing skills and experience navigating computer-based tools Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a chat or mobile messaging environment Familiarity with customer service software and technology Ability to work in a remote environment with minimal supervision Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software and systems quickly Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks Strong conflict management and resolution skills Ability to maintain professional composure in challenging situations Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software and systems quickly Career Growth and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
