Key Responsibilities Data Input: Accurately input various types of information into company databases and systems, ensuring data accuracy and attention to detail. Document Processing: Convert physical documents into digital formats through scanning and typing, maintaining organized digital filing systems and folder structures. Database Management: Update, maintain, and organize client records and business information, ensuring data integrity and security. Quality Control: Review and verify data accuracy before final submission, identifying and correcting errors to maintain high standards of quality. File Organization: Maintain organized digital filing systems and folder structures, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information. Report Generation: Create basic reports and data summaries as requested, providing insights and trends to support business decision-making. Data Verification: Cross-reference information across multiple sources to ensure accuracy, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. System Updates: Keep customer information, inventory records, and business data current, ensuring data consistency and integrity. Essential Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, with a strong foundation in computer skills and data entry principles. Experience: 1+ years of data entry or administrative experience preferred, with a proven track record of accuracy and attention to detail. Typing Skills: Minimum 45 WPM with 98% accuracy rate, demonstrating exceptional typing speed and accuracy. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and basic computer operations, with experience in online databases and CRM systems. Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy and ability to spot errors, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality. Work Schedule & Expectations As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be expected to work a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST. You will be required to maintain a high level of productivity, processing a minimum of 8,000 keystrokes per hour, and achieving an accuracy rate of 98% or higher. You will also be expected to participate in a comprehensive 1-week training program, with ongoing training and support provided to ensure your success in the role. Compensation & Benefits Package At blithequark, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including a starting salary of $16-$20 per hour, based on experience and typing speed. You will also be eligible for bi-weekly direct deposit, quarterly performance reviews, and potential raises. Additionally, you will receive a health insurance stipend after 90 days, accrued PTO starting after 60 days, paid sick days, and paid holidays for major US holidays. You will also be provided with IT support for work-related technical issues, ensuring that you have the tools and resources you need to succeed in your role.
