Experienced Remote Data Entry Specialist for Investment Reconciliation and Client Transactions

About the Role As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments. Your primary focus will be on processing exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, identifying and addressing breaks between TD Ameritrade and fund companies or transfer agents, and handling corporate activity events. You'll also be responsible for settling and reconciling transfer activity, processing and reconciling returns activity, and conducting research on complex and escalated issues. Key Responsibilities Reconciliation and Transaction Processing: Review membership deals or transaction requests Process client/advisor level exceptions Meet regulatory commitments (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3) Settle corporate, dividend, and transfer breaks Reconcile across BOS and fund companies Problem-Solving and Research: Investigate internal/external system enhancements or issues Identify the root cause of breaks between TDA, the Fund, etc. Develop process or technology solution options for management Remediate transmission issues with the Fund or Contra Firm Client and Business Partner Service: Respond to service partner inquiries regarding Fund-specific requirements/eligibility Provide action on Alternative Investment moves to expedite client requests or remediate not-in-good-order issues Ensure timely and accurate completion of client investing and returns requests Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A strong understanding of investment products, transactions, and regulatory requirements Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with various stakeholders, including clients, business partners, and internal teams Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and meet productivity standards Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in investment operations or a related field Knowledge of TD Ameritrade systems and processes, or similar experience in a brokerage or investment firm Familiarity with fund accounting, transfer agency, or related operations Certifications such as CIMA, CFP, or CFA are a plus Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess: Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with various stakeholders Attention to Detail and Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain accurate records, meet productivity standards, and prioritize multiple tasks Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems Adaptability and Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you'll have opportunities to: Develop your skills and expertise in investment operations, reconciliation, and client transactions Participate in training and development programs to enhance your knowledge and stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve client experiences Take on additional responsibilities and contribute to special projects and initiatives Work Environment and Company Culture We're a company that values diversity, inclusion, and work-life balance.
