Job Summary The Remote Data Entry Specialist for Alternative Investments is responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for alternative investments. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of client transactions, and the successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Retail and Institutional Service Teams to deliver exceptional results. The key deliverables of this role include refining exchange deal transactions in client accounts, identifying and addressing breaks between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents, and processing corporate activity activities, among others. Key Responsibilities Refine exchange deal transactions in client accounts and identify/address breaks between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents Process corporate activity activities, settle/reconcile transactions activity, and process/reconcile dividend activity Conduct research on complex/escalated issues, perform testing/validation of new technology enhancements and vendor changes Complete projects in Investing, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact Client/Advisor accounts Collaborate with Retail and Institutional Service Teams using email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce Interact with and work with blithequark Clearing in daily relationships with fund companies, transfer brokers, converse organizations, and other outside business partners Accountabilities and Evaluation The Remote Data Entry Specialist for Alternative Investments will be evaluated on their ability to perform the following tasks: Review of registration agreements or transactions requests Client/Advisor level exemptions Regulatory responsibilities (Examples: 2340 and 15C3-3) Reconciliation of Field, Dividend, and Move Breaks Getting Back Together all over BOS and Fund Business Evaluation and interpretation of applicable tax programming and corrections of tax coding Complication Handling Internal/External device improvements or issues Source of breaks between blithequark, the Fund, etc. Providing method or technology service options to Control Remediating transactions issues with the Fund or Opposite Company Customer or Business Partner Service Answering service partner questions regarding Fund specific requirements/eligibility Providing action on Alternative Investment transactions to accelerate the client request or remediate not in good order concerns Timely and accurate completion of customer trading and dividend requests Essential and Preferred Qualifications To be successful in this role, the candidate should possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required 2+ years of experience in data entry, financial services, or a related field Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines Excellent communication and customer service skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other software applications Preferred qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in a related field Experience working with alternative investments or financial services Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software Certifications or licenses in a related field (e.g. Series 7, 63, or 66) Skills and Competencies The successful candidate will possess the following skills and competencies: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and other software applications Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
