About the Role This full-time remote position is available to candidates based in the United States, with a focus on Arizona. As a Data Entry Clerk and Typist at arenaflex, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date provider file information across various systems. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the integrity of our data and contributing to the success of our team. Key Responsibilities Update and maintain provider file information across various systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Ensure accurate documentation is submitted to the provider file database(s), meeting deadlines and quality standards. Conduct research on provider contracts and recommend necessary actions for maintenance, identifying opportunities for process improvements. Investigate and resolve claims edits related to provider files, collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. Analyze reports to identify data corrections and streamline processes, implementing changes to enhance data quality and workflow efficiency. Perform quality control reviews on provider files to ensure accuracy and compliance, adhering to established guidelines and regulations. Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a combination of education, experience, and skills that align with our requirements. These include: Education: High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's Degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, healthcare, or a related discipline, is preferred. Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a general business environment; 2 years of experience in the health insurance field is highly preferred, with a focus on data entry, administration, or a related role. Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook; excellent typing skills, with a minimum of 40 words per minute; strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently; effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders.
