Job Overview and Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for handling inbound sales calls, assisting customers in finding and purchasing their desired products, and providing exceptional customer service. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including: Managing a high volume of inbound sales calls (approximately 40 per day) and providing personalized support to each customer Utilizing our scheduling system to ensure maximum availability and responsiveness to our customers Reviewing your daily schedule to stay informed about assigned break times, lunch times, team meetings, and training sessions Preparing for your shift by logging in, getting settled, and being ready to offer a first-class customer purchasing experience Contacting product suppliers to gather additional information that may not be available on the Wayfair website Following our designated Sales Cycle and call flow to ensure a seamless and effective sales process Upselling or cross-selling products to enhance the customer's experience and drive sales growth Participating in engagement activities, sales challenges, and other aspects of our company culture Essential Qualifications and Skills To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications and skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think logically in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and relationship-building skills 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in a call center/retail/virtual environment High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred Ability to work in a virtual world, comfortable with technology, and possessing strong critical thinking skills Proven written and verbal communication skills Willingness to learn and use software applications required for the job Reliable and consistent attendance is a fundamental requirement of this position Ability to maintain a distraction-free workspace and meet the required internet speed of at least 25 Mbps (download) and 5 Mbps (upload) Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not required, the following preferred qualifications and skills will make you a more competitive candidate: Bachelor's degree in a related field Experience working in a remote or virtual environment Familiarity with sales software and technology Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Excellent time management and organizational skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Wayfair, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
