About the Role arenaflex is seeking an accomplished, detail-oriented data engineer to join our Global Outreach team, Data Solutions and Drives (DSI). DSI is a product strategy and engineering group that works closely with business development and sales finance. As a remote data engineer, you will have the flexibility to work from home and collaborate with our global team to drive innovation and growth. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test large-scale data solutions to provide efficient analytics and reporting capabilities across arenaflex's global and regional sales and finance teams. Build highly scalable data pipelines to load data from various source systems, utilizing Apache Airflow to orchestrate, schedule, and monitor the workflows. Develop generic and reusable solutions that can scale and leverage different technologies and frameworks to address our complex business requirements. Ensure data quality by establishing data quality management frameworks and anomaly detection capabilities. Be expected to grasp existing solutions, customize them, and support them as needed. Essential Qualifications 8+ years of hands-on experience with data engineering, data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture. Solid expertise in design and development on cloud data platforms like Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and Big Data platforms like Spark, Dremio, Hadoop, Hive. Proficiency in design and development of custom ETL pipelines using SQL and scripting languages (Python/Shell/Golang) and workflow management tools like Airflow. Proficiency in advanced SQL, performance tuning, and data optimization techniques. Experience with modern data engineering concepts like data lakes, data lakehouse, and cloud computing platforms like AWS, Google Cloud. Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and deployment tools for database and software development. Ability to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently, navigating through ambiguity or as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications BS or MS in Engineering/Computer Science or related field. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and engineers. Knowledge of data governance, data security, and compliance regulations. Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js.
