About the Role As a Remote Customer Support Specialist for Property and Casualty Insurance at blithequark, you will play a critical role in helping our existing customers make changes to their current insurance policies from one of our 55+ insurance carrier partners. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service and support to our customers, responding to inbound calls, processing service requests, and answering questions regarding policy details. Your goal will be to deliver a world-class customer experience, ensuring that our customers feel valued, supported, and empowered to make informed decisions about their insurance needs. Key Responsibilities Respond to inbound calls from existing customers, providing timely and effective solutions to their queries and concerns. Process service requests, such as adding or removing vehicles and drivers, adding lienholder information, sending policy documents, and other related tasks. Help customers with questions regarding existing insurance policies, including coverages, policy benefits, and making changes to existing policies. Work to retain blithequark policyholders by actively finding solutions for customers who are at risk of cancellation, providing personalized support and guidance to ensure their needs are met. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a seamless customer experience and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred. Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance license or willingness to obtain within 60 days of starting. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and managing competing deadlines. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage your time effectively. Knowledge of insurance industry software and systems, including policy administration and customer relationship management tools. Certifications or training in customer service, insurance, or a related field. Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
