Job Summary As a Remote Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for handling a wide range of customer inquiries, including billing, service orders, and emergency calls. You will work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, you will be expected to provide personalized support, address customer concerns, and ensure that all interactions are handled with professionalism and courtesy. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or other channels, providing timely and accurate solutions to their concerns Process billing calls, investigate meter read and other requests relating to billing accuracy or payment, and resolve issues promptly Handle emergency calls, providing critical support and assistance to customers in need Process customer move-ins, adds, and transfers, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions to service Route escalated customer issues to resolution, collaborating with internal teams to ensure prompt and effective solutions Make referrals and process requests regarding special programs, such as Energy Assistance, CRISIS, or other initiatives, as necessary Assist customers with credit/payment arrangements, providing guidance and support to help them manage their accounts effectively Direct customers to self-service channels, promoting efficient and convenient solutions to their needs Meet individual deadlines, metrics, and team goals, contributing to the overall success of the customer service team Multitask while effectively focusing on priority issues, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with care and attention to detail Work cooperatively in a group environment, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent One (1) year of customer service experience, preferably in a utility or call center environment Computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems Ability to type a minimum of 25 words per minute (WPM) Solid written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely For bilingual candidates: must pass a bilingual aptitude test (Spanish) Must be 18 years of age or older Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: 2-3 years of call center experience, preferably in a utility or customer-facing environment 2-5 years of previous customer service work-from-home experience Utility experience, with knowledge of industry-specific practices and procedures Advanced computer skills, including navigating multiple tabs, windows, and systems Ability to type 60-65 WPM Living Requirements To be eligible for this role, you must reside within 80 miles of an arenaflex facility, including: arenaflex of Virginia Operating Center (1809 Coyote Drive, Chester, VA 23836) arenaflex of Ohio location (290 W. Salary Range and Benefits The salary range for this role is $33,400.00 - $46,800.00 per year, with a starting pay of $17.70 per hour for traditional candidates and $20.00 per hour for bilingual candidates.
