Job Overview In this full-time remote position, you will serve as a patient care advocate, handling customer service inquiries related to pharmacy benefits and distribution programs. Your primary goal will be to research and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that our members receive the best possible support and care. You will work closely with other operational departments to address mail order and claims issues, respond to member inquiries, and maintain accurate documentation of all interactions. Key Responsibilities Handle inbound and outbound calls from members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients, providing exceptional customer service and support Answer questions related to pharmacy benefits, maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees where applicable Collaborate with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues, responding to members within performance agreement guidelines Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries, using computerized systems to gather information and respond to questions Identify and escalate concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent manner, ensuring that corrective action is taken to address their needs Adhere to quality and production standards, complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations Perform other duties as needed to support the team and ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: 1 year of experience in a call center environment, preferably in a customer-facing role 1 year of experience in customer service, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional support and care Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize with members and provide personalized support Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex issues in a timely manner Proficiency in computerized systems, with the ability to gather information and respond to questions accurately and efficiently Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Experience working in the healthcare industry, preferably in a pharmacy benefits or distribution program Knowledge of pharmacy benefits and distribution programs, with the ability to understand and explain complex concepts to members Experience working in a remote environment, with the ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate with members in multiple languages Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Communication skills : ability to communicate effectively with members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients Problem-solving skills : ability to research and resolve complex issues in a timely and efficient manner Interpersonal skills : ability to empathize with members and provide personalized support Time management skills : ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Technical skills : proficiency in computerized systems, with the ability to gather information and respond to questions accurately and efficiently Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our team members.
