Experienced Remote Customer Service Representative – Non Emergency Medical Transportation Program Support

About the Role We are currently supporting a Non Emergency Medical Transportation Program and have multiple Remote Customer Service Representative openings available. As a Remote Customer Service Representative, you will handle a variety of tasks, including incoming phone calls, general clerical tasks, data entry, processing picture IDs, handling customer requests, and administrative support. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all customers receive timely and professional assistance. Key Responsibilities: Handle inbound calls from Members, Clients, and Facilities to verify eligibility and coordinate non-emergent transportation and/or paratransit services utilizing transportation management systems to meet contract service levels Provide top-quality customer service experience to a diverse customer population, responding to all inquiries within a timely and professional manner Enter Customer Contact information into appropriate software systems, ensuring accuracy of data entries Schedule trips in the most cost-effective manner, meeting job-specific key performance indicators and goals Respond to and document customer complaints, maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA regulations Maintain daily customer scheduling for Eligibility staff, collecting, tracking, and maintaining all monies collected for replacement IDs Communicate professionally with Leadership both internally and externally, maintaining program spreadsheets and regular attendance for assigned shifts Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Typing speed of 30 WPM or greater One year of customer service experience Six months of experience working in a customer service contact center (preferred) Authorization to work in the United States In addition to these requirements, we are looking for individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
