Why You'll Love This Role This position is within the blithequark Credit Association, where you'll play a critical role in reviewing home equity loan requests and assisting customers through the loan process. Key Responsibilities Handle record setup for home equity loans, including providing appropriate disclosures to customers, discussing loan terms, and reviewing loans for closing Perform daily audits on the Home Equity pipeline to ensure accuracy and efficiency Process Closing Docs for home equity loans, Property Condition Reports, and Confirmation of Work for loan applicants Perform booking of home equity loans and input loan data into daily Excel spreadsheets Execute various other tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities Ensure the security and confidentiality of all records and related information, complying with relevant regulations and guidelines, including the Bank Secrecy Act Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or GED At least 2 years of related experience, preferably in a credit union environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through work experience or education Knowledge of Credit Union and Episys systems Excellent role and customer care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze data and perform basic computations The ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively as part of a diverse team Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications can give you a competitive edge: Experience in mortgage lending Previous customer service experience Ability to speak, read, and write Spanish What You'll Get At blithequark, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical benefits: On day one, you'll have access to health, dental, prescription, and vision benefits to help you stay healthy Health projects: Our health programs provide you with the tools, resources, and support you need to be your best self 401(k) Program: Available upon hire, with employer contributions available after one year, depending on the workgroup Additional benefits: Our Employee Assistance Program, pet insurance, and discounts on hotels, rental cars, travel, and more Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we're committed to helping you grow and develop your skills.
