Job Overview We're seeking an experienced and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a key member of our Payments and Digital Strategy crew, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our customers, resolving issues, and delivering outstanding service. This is a remote job opportunity, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home and enjoy a better work-life balance. Key Responsibilities Complete data access and balancing functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency Coordinate return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions Assist different departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and related Accounting standard ledger balancing Work member cases/sports assigned and follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products Log, research, and make necessary GL, account changes and/or returns Process Stop Pays and Check Batching Complete daily balancing and department closing Obtain information from contributors for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information Communicate with vendors to process fund transfers Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws Deposit check returns, research member back checks on draft changes, process member checks, confirm contributors for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers Complete daily processing of workflows associated with late returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you'll need: High school diploma or GED Intermediate Excel and Word experience Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities Excellent customer service skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous customer/member service experience Previous banking or Credit Union experience Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you'll need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with ability to think critically and outside the box Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks and deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy and quality in work Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
