About the Role We are looking for a full-time Customer Service Representative to work remotely from the comfort of their own home in Texas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with customers, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support to our pet-loving community. Key Responsibilities Engage directly with customers via phone, email, or chat to address a variety of topics, from shopping for new pets to resolving issues with orders Research and problem-solve to determine appropriate solutions for customers, thinking proactively and setting follow-ups as needed to ensure contact resolution Operate with understanding, utilizing active listening, patience, empathy, and kindness to customers and team members alike Collaborate with teammates, managers, and other stakeholders using virtual collaboration tools such as Zoom, Slack, and webcams to contribute to a customer-centric culture of collaboration Continuously learn and develop new skills, sharing feedback and operating in a culture of open-mindedness and growth Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and listening), with the ability to demonstrate these skills in a written assessment Ability to multi-task, navigate computer systems, and perform well in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in using computers, including data entry, rapid navigation through systems, and internet research High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on adaptability, flexibility, and confidentiality Ability to pass a background check and meet technical requirements for remote work Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable: Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a proven ability to self-motivate and manage time effectively Knowledge of the pet industry, with a passion for animals and their welfare Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box Technical Requirements To work remotely with arenaflex, you will need: A dedicated workspace that is free from distractions, with a reliable wired, high-speed internet connection (30 Mbps+ download speed/ 10Mbps+ upload speed) A computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, and webcam, which will be provided by arenaflex A cell phone or tablet for two-factor authentication, with the ability to download the Okta mobile app or receive SMS messages and phone calls Why Join arenaflex?
