Job Summary We're seeking an experienced Remote Customer Service/Call Center Representative to join our team as a Monitoring Representative I. As a remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from home, but you'll also have the opportunity to participate in classroom and on-the-job training at our facility in Manasquan, NJ. In this role, you'll be responsible for verifying, responding to, and dispatching on emergency signals, as well as providing excellent customer service and support. Key Responsibilities Verify, respond to, and dispatch on emergency signals to police/fire agencies Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries Operate in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for alarm monitoring and dispatch Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and guidelines Meet minimum productivity and quality standards set for the role Work effectively with others, including customers, responders, and team members Process basic data changes to customer accounts Handle signals from one location/area and TTY stations Notify customers of non-emergency signals and responders on emergency signals after dispatch Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required One to three months of related experience or training/certification preferred Licensure to work in all states with mandatory requirements Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Internet, and computer systems Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills Self-motivated and professional attitude Ability to work overtime as requested by management Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or call center environment Knowledge of alarm monitoring and dispatch procedures Certification in alarm monitoring or a related field Skills and Competencies Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment and priorities Excellent time management and productivity skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At ADT, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
