Job Summary Key Responsibilities Adequately operate ground support equipment, including tugs, forklifts, and tow tractors. Be flexible and willing to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays. Work in inclement weather conditions. Practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational procedures and tactics while performing under time constraints. Correctly lift, load, unload, and transport mail and cargo to and from aircraft, ensuring on-time shipments. Protect cargo and mail from damage, loss, and weather. Properly drive and operate ground equipment, including tugs, forklifts, and tow tractors, in areas of congestion. Repeatedly lift and load shipment onto carts, ensuring each shipment reaches its destination. Operate scanners and computers to ensure mail and cargo are routed correctly to the destination. Practice safety-aware behaviors in all operational approaches and techniques. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following essential qualifications: Demonstrate that privacy is a concern when handling personal data. Embrace diverse people, thinking, and styles. Consistently make safety and security, of self and others, the priority. High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver's license. Must be able to drive and safely operate a forklift, baggage tug, and tow tractor. Must be proficient in English. Must have excellent oral and verbal communication skills and be able to understand specific job instructions. Must project a professional image. Possess basic computer skills. Must complete applicable training instructions.
