Job Overview As a Remote Customer Service Agent – Seasonal at blithequark, you will be part of our fast-paced, fully remote Customer Contact Center, supporting our field offices and customers during our peak season. You will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home, with a flexible schedule that includes days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Key Responsibilities Work remotely from your home office, with equipment provided by blithequark Support our field's peak season, which starts building around February, with heavy call volume expected during this time Manage customer relationships to ensure best-in-class service, identifying opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling Assist customers by offering remedies to retain business, using different gamification tools to measure performance Utilize your excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide exceptional customer service, with a strong focus on empathy and problem-solving Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: High School/GED diploma 1-2 years of customer service experience, either within or outside a call center Completion of a Culture Index assessment Verification of internet speed and ability to pass a computer assessment Ability to pass a background and drug screen Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with strong computer skills in various software and web-based applications Proficient in Microsoft Office, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Prior experience in a fast-paced, high-volume call center environment Knowledge of the pest management industry, with a strong understanding of customer service and sales principles Experience with gamification tools and performance metrics Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with a strong focus on empathy and customer satisfaction Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, with a strong focus on productivity and efficiency Strong computer skills, with the ability to navigate multiple software and web-based applications Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, with a strong focus on meeting performance metrics and goals Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
